For the record:
I scored the FIRST 24-HAND once again and grabbed THE CHICKEN.
JULIA BICK ended the day holding THE CHICKEN
SANDY EUSTICE emptied out the SKUNK POT
Nobody held a 6-7-8-A-A, so the RAGGEDY JULIA rolls over to next time.
Nobody held a 6-7-8-2-2, so the RAGGEDY ANDY is safe for another week.
And the DIRECTOR’S AWARD, a 4-of-a-Kind in the hand (excluding the turn-up card) went unclaimed today.
Don’t forget that next Saturday we WON’T be playing our regular weekly Grass Roots tournament. Instead, we will be at the VASHON SENIOR CENTER for the JIM RANSTROM MEMORIAL REGIONAL GRASS ROOTS CRIBBAGE TOURNAMENT. Doors open at 8 am. Play starts at 9 am.
This event is a fundraiser for the Vashon Senior Center, so bring lots of money as we will have several ways you can support this great organization!
Dennis and Lori were the bookends of today’s results!
The 23-HAND was finally claimed today by AL DeCARO. Al has picked a 4-of-a-Kind for the next DIRECTOR’S AWARD hand.
I scored the FIRST 24-HAND and HARLEY MIEDEMA was holding THE CHICKEN at the end of the day.
Nobody held a 6-7-8-A-A, nor a 6-7-8-2-2, so the two RAGGEDY pots roll over to next week.
We WILL be playing next Saturday at the regular time and place.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable Thanksgiving!
For the record:
AMANDA GOSS held the FIRST 24-HAND
KAREN KEIL emptied out the RAGGEDY ANDY pot
CINDY GRENVILLE emptied out the RAGGEDY JULA pot
I think RAY MIELBRECHT was holding THE CHICKEN at the end of the day
KAREN KEIL wiped out the RAGGEDY JULIA pot (6-7-8-A-A) in the first deal of the day!
I scored the FIRST 24-HAND, KURT LYSEN took it away from me, but I took it back and ended the day holding THE CHICKEN. So like DAVE McCOY did last week, I ended the day with BOTH pots! That’s what I say “I want to be like DAVE!”
Nobody scored a 23-hand, so the DIRECTOR’S AWARD is safe for another week, as is the RAGGEDY ANDY (6-7-8-2-2)
