LORRAINE OLIVER is our newest club member, just joining today.
And she was rewarded with FIRST PLACE!
Welcome to our club Lorraine!
For the record:
STEVE WENNSTROM scored the FIRST 24-HAND
JULIA BICK ended the day holding THE CHICKEN
SANDY EUSTICE held a 28-HAND today! Way to go Sandy!
The first chicken went to Al DeCaro and the last one holding the chicken was Steve. No other specialty hands were won.
Promoting the great game of cribbage and our organization The American Cribbage Congress is important to the health of organized cribbage. Supporting events such as the cribbage booth at the Puyallup Fair is a fun and simple way to do that.
If you missed it this year, I’m sure you’ll have another opportunity to DO THE PUYALLUP with us again next year.
I just received word that ROBIN KING has passed her test and is now an official Grass Roots cribbage judge!
CONGRATULATIONS to Robin!
So next Saturday, Robin will be your judge, so please give her lots of help!
For the record:
KURT LYSEN started the day scoring the FIRST 24-HAND
STEVE WENNSTROM ended the day holding THE CHICKEN
RAY MIELBRECHT emptied out the SKUNK POT
The Raggedy Julia, Raggedy Andy and the Director’s Award all went unclaimed this week.
Please be sure to offer a helping hand to Ray next week and to Robin the following week while I’m away.
We started the day welcoming a new player...LORRAINE OLIVER. She will definately be giving us a run for our money!

He was also awarded “The Driver” for finishing in Second Place last season.
