Steve Wennstrom took FIRST PLACE today with 6 wins and 12 games points.
Arlyn Teed took SECOND PLACE with 4 wins and 9 game points.
Ray Mielbrecht, Karen Keil, and myself all had 4 wins as well, but Arlyn skunked one of her opponents, so she out-scored the rest of us.
NO DIRECTOR'S AWARD! (since our group was so small, we didn't have this specialty pot today)
NO RAGGEDY JULIA!
So next week's LAST 24-HAND will be worth $10.
Next week's DIRECTOR'S AWARD will be worth $5.
And the RAGGEDY JULIA will start out with $51 (that's FIFTY-ONE dollars!)!
This will be the final "play for pay" tournament before our summer break.
And remember, starting in June, we will be inviting the kids and beginners to join us. I hope you'll consider yourself one of the "experts" on-hand to help teach them this great game!
