Today we welcomed AL DECARO as our newest club member! Al has played a couple of times as a guest, and this fall he joined us at the Puyallup Fair Cribbage Booth to help promote the great game of cribbage. For the record: CINDY GRENVILLE emptied out the RAGGED JULIA pot, and then went on the claim the FIRST 24-HAND. JIM RANSTROM went home with THE CHICKEN And KATHARINE GOLDING gets to claim the contents of the SKUNK POT

Today we welcomed back that Colorado Cribbage Critter JIM ROSEVEARE, who didn't go home empty handed, as he got to take the contents of the SKUNK POT home with him. Hurry Back Jim! For the record: Today's new DIRECTOR'S AWARD was a Raggedy Andy (6-7-8-2-2), which went unclaimed, so it will be worth $10 next week. I discovered the RAGGEDY JULIA (6-7-8-A-A) in my first crib of the day. ROBIN KING scored the FIRST 24-HAND And after THE CHICKEN got passed around several times today, JIM RANSTROM ended the day still in possession of the fowl. Today we welcomed RAY MIELBRECHT back to the club. And as you can see below, he didn't waste any time racking up those Grass Roots Points! For the record: FIRST 24 HAND was held by HARLEY MIEDEMA JIM RANSTROM ended the day holding THE CHICKEN RUTH ADAMS scored the first 4-of-a-Kind, this week's DIRECTOR'S AWARD Nobody claimed the RAGGEDY JULIA (6-7-8-A-A) And CINDY GRENVILLE emptied out the SKUNK POT today. We were honored by the presence of TWO (and a HALF) visitors today. WILBER PAUL and his son EDDIE PAUL were out visiting from North Carolina and came over to the island for an afternoon of cribbage. And Al DeCaro is only HALF a visitor, since he has actually visited us before. (Al also helped us out at the Puyallup Fair last month.)
