Today's results: We welcomed first-timer Stephanie Marotta. Saul Fortunoff held the one and only CHICKEN Nobody claimed the Director's Award (23-hand) so that will be worth $20 next week. And nobody claimed the Raggedy Julia or the Raggedy Andy. NOTE: We're doing the Fair again this coming Wednesday. Please let me know if you need a ride (or can offer a ride.) STEVE WENNSTROM kicked off the new season in fine style! First place AND 1st and last CHICKEN! ERIC MATTHEWS didn't do too shabby either. Second place AND he grabbed the DIRECTOR'S AWARD (22-hand) GENE DAVIS was just out of the money, so he got to claim the SKUNK POT quarters The new DIRECTOR'S AWARD will be a 23-hand. I need to firm up who is going, who needs a ride and who is driving. So far we have three drivers: Steve, Kurt and myself. (Kurt stays late at the Fair, so if you ride with him, you would have to hang out until he is finished.) (I mistakenly posted earlier that Cindy was driving, but she is riding with me.) Since we start at 10 am, so we should plan to be on the 8:00 Tahlequah ferry. You can meet us in Burton at 7:40 or walk on the ferry to connect with us. If you plan to meet us at the Fair, please make arrangements with me to get your tickets before Wednesday, or meet us at the parking lot or at the entrance gate to get your entry ticket. I know Robin and Chandler are NOT going. Who is going? Who is not going? Please get in touch with me soon so I can firm up our plans for Wednesday. Mike (206) 930-1379 [email protected] |
