For the record: ROBIN KING held the FIRST 24-HAND SANDY EUSTICE ended the day holding THE CHICKEN Nobody held a 23-hand, so the DIRECTOR’S AWARD rolls over to next week Nobody held a 6-7-8-A-A or a 6-7-8-2-2, so both RAGGEDY pots roll over to next week too. THANKS to all of you for allowing me to speed our day up with shortened games. We finished with just enough time to make it to Jim Ranstrom’s memorial. Emory’s scorecard wasn’t tallied correctly, and it turns out that he bumped me down into 3rd place and he finished in SECOND PLACE! CONGRATULATIONS EMORY! (I’ll square up with you or your dad next week Emory.) For the record: KURT LYSEN scored the FIRST 24-HAND JULIA BICK once again held a 6-7-8-A-A and emptied out the RAGGEDY JULIA LORI MISENAR was holding THE CHICKEN at the end of the day Nobody held a 23-hand, so the DIRECTOR’S AWARD rolls over to next week. SPECIAL REMINDER: Our dear friend JIM RANSTROM’s memorial is next Saturday at 4:00 at the Southend Community Club, and you are all invited to attend. SPECIAL NOTICE: We are tentatively planning on playing at the Vashon Senior Center (west of US BANK), starting at our regular time, 1:00 ANOTHER SPECIAL NOTICE: If you’re planning on going to the Puyallup Fair this coming Wednesday (Sept 14th), be sure to let me know so that I can arrange to get you a ticket. [Robin and Cindy (and Steve?)....I will be catching the 8:00 ferry, so plan to meet me at the Burton Store at 7:30......or you can walk onto the ferry.] We welcomed KAREN KEIL back to the club after taking a year off the cribbage circuit. Everyone enjoyed hearing her infectious laughter! And our friends from the Kitsap Peninsula, DENNIS and LORI MISENAR, both in the Traveler’s Club, joined us for another exciting afternoon of CRIBBAGE!
